Surfing

Siargao has attracted surfers from all over the world to come and try their hand at a range of amazing breaks all over the East Coast of the Island. There is a handful of options between General Luna and Cloud 9 that are accessible by paddling and some other options in the same area that will require a short boat trip to reach. Longboards can be rented from a number shops and resorts and it’s recommended that you organise one of the very talented local surf guides/coaches if you’re not an experienced surfer. For those who want to rent a high performance board we have a selection ranging from 5’8” up to 6’1” that might suit what you’re looking for and there are a couple of other shops that rent these short boards as well. 

WATER SPORTS (NON SURFING)

A lot resorts will have a range of equipment to rent including SUPs, Kayaks, snorkelling equipment and kite surfing equipment.  


Island hopping

Get a group of mates to spend the day visiting some of beautiful pristine islands a short boat of the coast of General Luna. You can organise a boat driver to visit one the amazing Guyam, Daku and Naked Island or join a prearranged group and make a day of it visiting all three with a lunch included on Daku.


Sugba Lagoon

This is an all day trip that will have travel up to Del Carmen where you’ll board a boat and snake your way out through the mangroves to reach the crystal clear azure waters of the Sugba Lagoon. Many of the local resorts will organise this for you to join a group or get them to organise your own group as well. Make sure pack the stand-up paddle boards and some snorkel gear to explore the marine life while you’re out there
